GPS based AR
In geolocation AR, the additional digital content is placed on definite GPS co-ordinates. Since smartphones have a GPS receiver, they know where they are – what’s more they have in-built compass so they know the direction they are facing at. AR applications in this case show the virtual objects in the selected direction, as if they were objects in the real world.
